This spray park has an enormous playground right next to it! Great place to spend a hot afternoon. Sherwood Park is just a few minutes east of Edmonton — this spray park is well worth the drive. Lots of grass area for picnics, the different sections keep the kids busy for longer, and I never find it overly crowded.

Please use the showers on the red barn and rinse your feet prior to using the water features. How does the water turn on? The spray features are operated by staff on site. We encourage you to please leave your pets at home while visiting the spray park. Pets are required to be on leash and may not enter the spray park or playground. The spray park and playground at Broadmoor Lake Park features innovative play structures for children all the way up to 15 years old.
Washrooms are available at the Sherwood Park Arena North of spray park. We have swim diapers for sale at the Kinsmen Leisure Centre. Please shower and rinse your feet prior to using the water features. The shower is located at the east end of the spray park. Is there an age restriction? No, all ages and families are welcome. We do have recommended ages for certain pieces of equipment, please refer to the signage on site for these recommendations. Is this spray deck staffed?
Yes, there is an attendant on-duty during normal operating hours. Parents are still asked to please watch and supervise their children. Some sites will begin splashing water as of June 1 and it will take up to 4 weeks for all neighbourhood sites to be fully operational. Please check the City of Edmonton website for more information and updates as they are available. Most spray parks and water play sites are open 9 am — 9 pm although some locations are only operational when staff are on site.
Strathcona County Spray Parks are open for pending weather 20C. Due to provincial outdoor restrictions, capacity is managed at each location using a fenced area. Staff will be wristbanding users and rotating groups every 30 minutes, with a 5 minute break between groups. Be sure to check updates from the City of Spruce Grove before heading out for water fun!
