Derkeethus is an Argonian ranger and a miner of Darkwater Crossing in Eastmarch. Several residents of Darkwater Crossing may tell you he has gone missing before you find him in Darkwater Pass , being held captive by Falmer. Rescuing him will increase his disposition towards you. Derkeethus can become your follower after rescue, as well as a potential candidate for marriage and for joining the Blades. He is trained in One-handed and Light Armor and tends to dual-wield weapons when not using a bow.
However, like Annekke , he equips a pickaxe as an offhand weapon, and will not properly dual wield like Jenassa. He wears a set of miner's clothes and a pair of boots , and is equipped with an iron dagger and a hunting bow supplemented by twelve steel arrows.
He also carries some lower-class items and gold. Only two people back in Darkwater Crossing will tell you that he is missing. You'll find Derkeethus captured by Falmer in Darkwater Pass, so make sure you're strong enough to deal with Falmer.
Derkeethus can't be killed during the mission, thankfully, but make sure he stays close to you while escaping. Unfortunately, his Essential status as an NPC goes away after his rescue, meaning he is vulnerable to death, particularly to Falmer attacks on the camp. Make sure you scoop Derkeethus up quickly and marry him before that happens! He works a back-breaking 12 hours moving firewood and doing other menial labour though looking quite handsome while doing it.
Like Shahvee, he requires doing a favour or a radiant quest before you can ask him to marry you. Scouts-Many-Marshes tells the Dragonborn of how the Argonians' boss, Torbjorn Shatter-Shield, has been hoarding coins and paying them all a sliver of what he pays Nords. Clearly, this is awful, and Scouts-Many-Marshes asks you to help settle the issue by talking to Torbjorn for him. Who are you to deny the request of such a dedicated man? You'll find Torbjorn Shatter-Shield at home or at Candlehearth Hall, drinking coin away which rightfully belongs to the Argonians down at the dock.
There are four ways to get him to agree to fair wages, three of which require you to pass a Speech Challenge. After acquiring fair wages for the Argonians, speak to Scouts-Many-Marshes again to receive his thanks, as well as a reward of either three restoration potions or two fortify-skill potions.
Now that you've proven your dedication to making Skyrim a better place, Scouts-Many-Marshes will be happy to marry you if ask. Hopefully, he's okay with the nickname Scouts, because it's quite cute and he absolutely deserves love.
Forza Horizon 5 addresses you by the name on your Microsoft account, but for some trans players, that has unexpected consequences. But if they dont keep their distance, he'll use whatever melee weapon he has on them. However, if you give him a better bow than his hunting bow and you give him a melee weapon, he will not use the bow you gave him. But on the bright side, he'll use whatever arrows you give him and will never run out, for example, I gave him Daedric Arrows, he never ran out, and i collected more daedric arrows for him, and now he has like daedric arrows, fluffin unbelievable I know.
Another cool thing is that, he never dies, he is immortal. If he takes too much damage, he'll just limp around on the ground on his knees pretending to give a blowjob to the air. He never dies because the 9 Divines love Argonians. But one more thing to say about his bow, he NEVER uses a different one because his grandma gave it to him as a youngin. Even if you pull it out of his rectum and get rid of it, he'll still use it.
Even if you enchant it and give it back to him, it wont work and the bow wont be enchanted. Unless you dont give him a melee weapon and have him use his fists, then he'll use any bow you give him, but he wont use any arrows you give him then. Since he's a stubborn asshole, just let him keep his main bow and give him anything else you want to give him. One other cool thing he does, is if you give him a one handed weapon and a pickaxe or let him keep the pickaxe he already has, he dual wields the weapon with the pickaxe.
Ebony Mail - Obtainable from the quest "Boethiah's Calling". He also looks very cool when sneaking when he wears this armor. Nightingale Gloves - Obtainable from progressing in the Thieves Guild questline. Nightingale Boots - You already know you get this along with the gloves so I'm not gonna tell you how to get it even though I technically already did. Now if you have a dickload of perks spent in enchanting like I do. He's Argonian 2. He's a great archer he can take down a plopsload of health from Falmer Shadowmasters from one shot if you give him the gear and enchantments I gave him 3.
